Igle is one of the modern masters, and this issue (like his entire run on this series) proves that to be true. From simple little details like the stitches on DollmakerÕs outfit and the balcony spaces on the apartment building behind the children Supergirl flies over to thestunning

detail of the clutter in DollmakerÕs hideout, Igle stuffs this story full of artistic brilliance.

-Doug Zawiska, Comic book resources

Igle brings a level of detail to this issue that makes all the difference. Example: Mikey's wearing a smokin' pair of Daisy Dukes, and the tips of the front pockets hang down just a bit against her thighs. It's a small detail that goes a long way to show off Igle's talent and dedication to his craft.

Artistically, Igle is flawless as is the colorist as is Maiolo.  They both poured as much of themselves to this final storyline as they could to make sure Supes has an appropriate fare-thee-well before he is rebooted into his younger DCnU-self.  And with IgleÕs work on Supergirl, it made him the perfect candidate to end SupermanÕs glorious seven hundred and fourteen issue run.

Jamal has the best combination in an artist: heÕs scary talented, super reliable, and one of the nicest guys in the business
